Glov Hydro Demaquillage gloves review

pro-cam

Glov Hydro Demaquillage is a product range of Phenicoptere, a Polish company founded by two womens: Monika and Ewa. Glov Hydro Demaquillage is composed by different types of microfiber cloths, which differ in: size, shape, colour and for different types of skin. I recently try the Glov on-the-go color edition in Bouncy Blue and the Glov Quick Treat Unicorn Edition in Bouncy Blue.

On Glov website we can read how microfibre gloves are made:”with microtechnology, GLOV fibers are 30 times thinner than a cotton pad and 100 thinner than a human hair. Their electrostatistic abilities absorb all makeup like a magnet till you wash the GLOV. GLOV fibres are antibacterial in their nature so they are always safe for you during the 3 months usage. GLOV is perfect for every skin type – even the most fragile and delicate. It is recommended to use for eczema problems and atopic type of skin. The delicate fibers smooth your skin. It has a peeling effect too!”. So the ability of the gloves to attract makeup lasts until the first wash with soap after then I use the products as a regular microfibre clothes. This is the step that I follow:

  • Wipe the glove with plain water.
  • With circular movements melt the makeup.
  • Wash the glove with water and soap and hang it for fast and easy drying.
  • Complete your skin care routine with a micellar water, toner and moisturizer.

I found the two products really gently to my skin, easy to use at home and a great eco-friendly alternative to makeup wipes and cotton pad.  I love the idea to remove makeup  only with Glov and  water, but for a complete cleansing  is not enough. The gloves are hypoallergenic and you can use for 3 months.
